John Adams has been a member of TREA Since January of 1998. He is a member
of Chapter 1 in Colorado Springs, CO. He currently serves as their 2nd Vice
President, but has also served as their Recording Secretary and Treasurer.
He is actively involved in Chapter activities. This is John's first National position. He was elected as a 2-Year Director at the 2008 National Convention. He has served on the National Scholarship Committee for three years. This is the second year of his term. John has an MBA in Project Management and an MS in Computer Science from Colorado Technical University. He also has a Bachelor of General Studies in Computer Science from Roosevelt University. John served for 24.5 years in the United States Air Force. His specialties included Telecommunications Center Specialist, Automatic Digital Technician, and Communications Computer Software Programmer. He retired as an E7. In 2007, he received the TREA National Founders Award for Distinguished Service. John and his wife, Nenita, reside in Colorado Springs, CO.
