Edward Pacheco is a native of Colorado. He was born
in Weston, CO, and graduated from Lincoln High School. For several years
he worked in the coal mines and worked as a lumberjack. He joined the
Air Force in 1963 and became an Administrator. His tours of duty
included: Louisiana, Nebraska, Colorado, Puerto Rico, Thailand, and
Turkey. He is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute of Monterey,
CA, where he learned the Turkish language and brushed up on his Spanish. He served in the Air Force for 25 years and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant, while assigned to Space Command/NORAD, where he was the Executive Officer to the Director of Administration. After the military he worked 20 years for the U.S. Postal Service. He is a Life Member of TREA, and is a member of Chapter 1 in Colorado Springs. He has served on the Chapter 1 Board of Directors as Director, Vice President and Parliamentarian. He has also served on various committees through the chapter. He is a member of the Colorado Springs Unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians and a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians. This is his first National Board of Director appointments. Ed and his wife, Janice, reside in Colorado Springs.
