Larry joined TREA in 1992 as an MAL,
and transferred to Chapter 65 in Kenosha, WI. He was a charter member of
Chapter 90 in Chicago, and served as their first President. He served as
the publicist for the BANC committee in 1998, and was elected to the
National Board in 1999 as a National Director, chairing the Public
Relations Committee, where he wrote the Public Relations Manual. Larry served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1980, where he had two tours in Vietnam. He was in charge of the Retiree Service Office (RSO) at Ft. Sheridan from 1993-1997. He received the Benjamin C. Pearson Humanitarian Award in 2001. He was re-elected to National Director in 2006, and again chairs the Public Relations Committee. He is also a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Larry and his wife, Jennie, reside in Dublin, OH.
