The National Convention was held in
San Juan, Puerto Rico on September 21-24, 1994. Officers elected/appointed:

MIDTERM MEETING JUNE 23, 1995
National Executive Director John
Muench discussed the hiring of new employees since National Convention in 1994. Ms. Ethel
Stevens was hired as a new accountant, Ms. Elizabeth Aanenson as Public Relations
Coordinator.
Co-Founder Sorrell discussed the two
teams to go to Las Vegas bowling tournament not having enough funding. It was decided that
only one team would attend.
3rd. Vice President McCutchen stated
that as of April 30, 1995 TREA had 77,600 members. They were projecting that by the end of
December we should have 80,000 members.
Scholarship Committee Chairman Athans
stated that TREA now had 120 applications for scholarships.
It was authorized that new chapters
would have $1,000 available to send one delegate to Convention in Rapid City.
A briefing was presented on our
National Audit by Kendra Padgett of Bondi & Company.
Connie Thomas stated that for the
first time in history TREA's bank accounts hit over $1 Million.
George Smith advised that presently
the TREA Foundation has approximately $3,500, amending his report of$2,500.
It was decided that a bowling team
would be sent to both the ABC Tournament in Reno, NV as well as one sent to the 1995 World
Wide Military at Show Boat in Las Vegas.
The purchase of a new phone system
for the National Headquarters building was approved.
