Information Collection and Use
TREA is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We reserve the right to share information with trusted third-party vendors that provide contracted services for TREA and its membership. Information collected on TREA’s Web site from TREA members is done to fulfill requests inclusive of, but not limited to, ordering accessories, and asking for assistance. TREA does not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.
The e-mail addresses of TREA members and others who subscribe to our e-mail newsletters cannot be sold or rented to anyone, including business partners, advertisers, and providers of insurance or other member benefits. We do provide members’ e-mail addresses to the company that distributes our e-mail newsletters, but that company is contractually bound not to use those addresses for any other purpose or to make them available to anyone else.
TREA members who change or provide their e-mail address via Capwiz will automatically be subscribed to the legislative e-mail newsletter inclusive of, but not limited to, the "Weekly Legislative Update”. Upon receipt of the e-mail newsletters, the user may decide to opt-out of the e-mail distribution list by following the instructions at the bottom of the e-mail message.
Use of IP Addresses
An IP address is a number that's automatically assigned to your computer whenever you're surfing the Web. Web servers -- the big computers that "serve up" Web pages -- automatically identify your computer by its IP address.
TREA collects IP addresses for the purposes of system administration and to audit the use of our site. When guests request pages from TREA, our servers log the guests' IP addresses. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that a user's session will be logged, but the user remains anonymous to us.
